Caribbean Secures US$44 Million for Coastal Climate Resilience

On 28 October 2026, the Green Climate Fund approved the five-year Climate Actions for Building Resilience in Coastal Communities (CABRIC) programme, valued at approximately US$44 million, for The Bahamas, Belize, Grenada, Jamaica and Saint Lucia. The programme includes a US$25 million locally led adaptation grant facility, offering funding of up to US$500,000 per project for climate-resilient agriculture, fisheries, mangrove restoration and early-warning systems. Environmental organisations, coastal authorities and project developers can explore climate-risk modelling, environmental monitoring and sustainability reporting, while HPC can support climate data processing and project analytics; contact HPC for a quotation or project consultation.
