Botswana Advances Floating Solar Development Opportunity at Water Utility Dams

On 29 October, Botswana’s Water Utilities Corporation was reported to be seeking expressions of interest for floating solar photovoltaic development at its dams. Submissions are due by 19 November 2026, creating an opportunity for qualified renewable-energy developers and engineering partners. The planned generation capacity and project investment value have not been publicly confirmed.
